Bismarck, ND – This was no April Fool’s joke for a lucky North Dakota Powerball, as someone hit it big with a six-figure win! A $100,000 Powerball with Power Play ticket for Monday night’s draw won by matching four white balls and the Powerball. The winning numbers were 19, 24, 40, 42, 56, and the Powerball was 23. The Power Play multiplier was 2.
The lucky ticket was sold at Family Fare Supermarket, 3101 North 11th Street, in Bismarck. The prize was $50,000, but as the player had also purchased the Power Play option, the ticket is worth $100,000. Family Fare Supermarket will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning Powerball ticket. The holder of the winning ticket must claim their prize at the North Dakota Lottery office within 180 days of the draw.
“The billion-dollar jackpot runs for Powerball and Mega Millions, has created a lot of excitement, and big winners, across all of the games,” said Lance Gaebe, director of the North Dakota Lottery. “In the last two weeks, we’ve had one $5,000 Lotto America with All Star Bonus winner, one $20,000 Mega Millions with Megaplier winner, three $22,000 2by2 jackpot winners, one $44,000 2by2 Tuesday Doubler jackpot winner, and this $100,000 Powerball with Power Play winner.”
