Bismarck, ND – A winning North Dakota Mega Millions ticket from the December 12, 2023, draw remains unclaimed, and the lucky ticket holder is almost out of time to claim the prize. The $40,000 ticket expires on June 9, 2024. North Dakota Lottery winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize, after which the prize is returned to the state. No one has yet contacted the North Dakota Lottery office to claim the prize.

The lucky ticket was sold at Pinnacle Express of Stanley, 301 12th Ave SE, in Stanley. The ticket won by matching four white balls and the Mega Ball. The winning numbers for the December 12, 2023, draw were 8, 23, 44, 45, 53, and the Mega Ball was 3. The Megaplier multiplier was 4. The prize was $10,000, but as the player had also purchased the Megaplier option, the prize quadrupled to $40,000.

“This is a large prize to still be unclaimed” said Lance Gaebe, director of the North Dakota Lottery. “We are doing everything we can to alert the public and locate the winner. We encourage players to promptly check their tickets and claim their prize if they have this, or any, winning ticket..”
