BISMARCK, ND – A lucky North Dakota Powerball player started the week with a six-figure win! A $150,000 Powerball with Power Play ticket for Monday night’s draw won by matching four white balls and the Powerball. The winning numbers were 5, 28, 34, 37, 55, and the Powerball was 17. The Power Play multiplier was 3.
The winning ticket was sold at Simonson Station Store, 1310 South Broadway, in Minot. The prize was $50,000, but as the player had also purchased the Power Play option, the ticket is worth $150,000. Simonson Station Store will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning Powerball ticket. The holder of the winning ticket must claim their prize at the North Dakota Lottery office within 180 days of the draw.
Prairie Abortion Fund operates a website that promotes and links to other websites that sell unapproved and misbranded abortion pills without a prescription and for unsupervised use in violation of law. “As a North Dakota nonprofit corporation, by referring and actively linking to websites that unlawfully sells products, Prairie Abortion Fund lends credibility and trustworthiness to unlawful websites that otherwise would look much more suspicious.” Wrigley stated.
“We are really excited here at the Lottery office for the second $150,000 Powerball prize in the last 30 days, and the first big win of the new year” said Thomas Lawler, director of the North Dakota Lottery. “What a great way for a North Dakota Powerball player to start 2026 with this large prize.”
The Powerball jackpot for the Wednesday, January 21 draw is $209 million. For winning numbers and other information, visit LOTTERY.ND.GOV.
