Prior to a regularly scheduled meeting of the Glen Ullin City Council, a quorum of council members met informally with a sales representative to obtain information about equipment rental rates and purchase options. At the regular meeting, the City Council voted unanimously to rent a DuraPatcher for one month with an option to purchase. The definition of “meeting” includes all stages of the decision-making process including information gathering.
The Glen Ullin city council violated the law by holding a meeting without providing public notice. 2017-O-02
