ABORTION LAWSUIT DISMISSED

Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem announced today that the State has agreed to the request from the Red River Women’s Clinic to dismiss its lawsuit challenging a 2013 law.

A two-day operation in the McKenzie county area involving agents with the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation, together with federal and local law enforcement agencies resulted in the arrest of 20 individuals, announced Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem.

Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem warned North Dakotans that an old telephone scam has resurfaced in North Dakota, but with a new twist; the scam artists are spoofing the real customer service number of a North Dakota bank.

A telemarketer from Massachusetts who ignored North Dakota’s consumer fraud and Do Not Call laws, and refused to comply with the Attorney General’s Civil Investigative Demand, has been banned from conducting any business in the state, announced Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem.
