Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem today issued a Cease & Desist order banning a Florida company from doing any further business in this state. “Annual Business Services, LLC” used the address of a mail forwarding service in Bismarck to create the impression that it was a North Dakota entity.

The Federal District Court for the District of Wyoming has now issued an order permitting North Dakota to intervene as a party, joining the State of Wyoming, in a challenge to the US Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) authority to impose federal regulations on hydraulic fracturing practices.

Two unlicensed contractors - Amador Construction and OakHill Construction - have been banned from doing business in North Dakota, for a total of fourteen unlicensed contractors banned since January last year, announced Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem.
