LifeSmarts is a free consumer education competition open to students in grades 6-12. The annual competition is run by the National Consumers League. Students are tested on their knowledge of personal finance, health and safety, the environment, technology, and consumer rights and responsibilities. Teams advance through preliminary rounds online before competing in person in the state finals for a chance to represent the state at the national competition.
